Job Title: Warehouse Worker/Event Support
Job Requirements:
Job Summary:
An employee in this title has responsibility for, but is not limited to, maintaining the readiness of all rental equipment and the warehouse facility, as well as providing support for events. This includes functions such as: preparing/receiving, inspection, maintenance/cleanliness of all equipment upon return from rentals, configuration of equipment for client rental and maintenance of the general warehouse facility. Additionally, this employee shall be responsible for the repair and refurbishment of all Blue Haze Entertainment equipment. Furthermore, event support will require a flexible schedule. It is the policy of Blue Haze Entertainment to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally, from rentals to events. Employees are expected to perform all of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with this policy at all times.
Primary Responsibilities:
Job Qualifications:
Three or more years of experience in event or entertainment technology warehouse operations, equipment maintenance or other relevant experience is preferred. Experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
High School Diploma or its equivalent. Two years of work experience may be substituted for the High School Diploma. Trade School or post High School training in an appropriate field may be substituted in part for the experience requirement above.
Working knowledge of the technical principles of operation and maintenance of the equipment in inventory; Good knowledge of the principles and practices of workplace Safety; Good knowledge of common computer productivity tools; such as Microsoft Office and Apple OS X; Working knowledge of the principles and practices of effective productivity; Good knowledge of safe motor vehicle operation and current license appropriate to the vehicle(s) operated; The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; The ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within strict deadlines; Exceptional sense of priority; Strong organizational skills; Customer Service orientation; Tact; Professionalism; Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
Schedule:
90 day probationary period
This position’s hours are the following:
One hour lunch break (unpaid)
Hours are subject to change based on events.

- Prior experience in the entertainment lighting experience is preferred, but not required.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Must have rudimentary computer knowledge and be able to take directions well.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all shop supplies, equipment repairs, sub-rental and event purchases as needed.
- Prepare work/equipment for show load in’s and load out’s.
- Deliver/Pickup goods/equipment; Valid CA drivers license (class C), clean driving record required.
- Communicate all activities related to outbound and inbound orders and the check-in and repair of equipment in the shop.
- Provide timely support to event site regarding last minute corrections, additions and replacements.
- Ensure that all company paperwork is completed timely, accurately and in accordance with Company requirements. Some examples include, but are not limited to, order forms, pick tickets, delivery/return rental agreements, shipping documents, vendor packing lists/invoices and all other operation forms/procedures.
- Communicate with superiors to discuss operational challenges, issues and opportunities.
- Educate, comply and enforce all Safety procedures.
- Provide backup for event leads when they are not available.
